Winter Park

United States

Winter Park is Colorado’s longest operating ski resort. Its seven territories are spread across 3,081 acres of groomers, black diamonds, panoramic bowls, off-the-beaten path powder stashes, and world-famous bumps. With an average annual snowfall of 320 inches, sunny skies, convenient location (67 miles northwest of Denver), award-winning restaurants and nanobreweries, and endless activities for kids, this is a skier’s paradise.
Every Christmas Eve, the resort hosts a torchlight ski-down, where more than 100 skiers and snowboarders traverse down the main run into the base. The event ends with a visit from Santa and an incredible fireworks display.
