The largest snow resort in Chile was built in 1987 and it was inspired by the French Les Arcs, at the top of the Alps. It is a universe of 900 hectares of skiable surface where 39 runs with 15 different elevation levels descend the steep slopes of the Andes unveiling a sea of beautiful snowy peaks that stretch as far as the eye can see. With a privileged location, just over an hour from Santiago, the complex includes three hotels and a condominium area of houses, which have a full leisure infrastructure with an outdoor heated pool, gym, restaurants, bars, stores and ski and snowboard school. Through the Valle Nevado’s tracks you can also access the neighboring resorts of La Parva and El Colorado, which form Tres Valles, the biggest ski area in South America.

In Valle Nevado hotel, the trendy La Fourchette brings back classic dishes of French cuisine, while Monte Bianco Ristorante provides an Italian experience in the Andes Mountains. La Leñera is inspired by Chilean cuisine. Mirador del Plomo, in the Puerta del Sol hotel, is great for those traveling with children, with grilled meats and freshly prepared pastas. In the mountains, the Bajo Zero, with its Chilean cuisine, is the hottest spot and it is where you will find one of the best views of the mountains.

Adrenaline lovers can book heliski sessions to enjoy the virgin snow of the Valle Nevado mountains and to relax, besides the heated outdoor pool, there is also a spa and a fully equipped gym with sauna, massages and beauty treatments.
FOR KIDS
The kids have a well-equipped ski school with specialized instructors, an exclusive ski lift, and the Kid's Zone, a space that besides Wii video games and a movie theater, it has several recreational activities. Baby sitters are available at the hotels if needed.

In the complex you will find the best brands of snow clothes like Spyder, Helly Hansen, Salomon, Burton, Billabong and Under Armour, and outdoor clothes like North Face, Patagonia, Columbia and Mountain Hardware. Valle Nevado Store also offers casual clothes and souvenirs.
NIGHT LIFE
To relax after a day of skiing, the Valle Nevado Bar has an extensive and exclusive wine list and it is located in the hotel of the same name, as well as the Valle Lounge, with a cozy fireplace and a terrace to watch the sunset. Bar Tres Puntas is the most popular for those who want to party - it has karaoke, a pool table and a dance floor, ideal for a lively après-ski. If you want something different, the Puerta del Sol Bar has a menu with sushi options and good cocktails.
EQUIPMENT RENTALS
There are almost 2,000 pieces of equipment available for rent so that you can find the perfect ski or snowboard for your whole family. There is also everything for heliskiers, as well as accessories such as pants, jackets, gloves and helmets.
SKI SCHOOL
Valle Nevado has a team of 70 bilingual instructors of different nationalities for ski and snowboard, and taking into account the different needs of the visitors, the school offers: private classes that allow a more intensive and personalized work; group classes; a freestyle course, to learn new techniques; and a free ride course, to discover new maneuvers and jumps.
