Park City
United StatesPark City boasts over 340 runs and 40 lifts that take skiers on incredible descents on 17 different mountain peaks. The heart of the town of only 8,000 inhabitants is Main Street, surrounded by a historic townhouse that still retains an Old West feel and houses a collection of stores, cafes, bars and restaurants behind its colorful facades. Practically the entire center can be considered ski-in/ski-out – two trails (Quit’N Time and Creole) end at the main avenue, where one of the main lifts is located. Every year in late January, the Sundance Film Festival takes place, one of the most important film festivals in the world, and the Hollywood atmosphere is established with celebrities attending and the showing of movies at various addresses around town.
