WHAT TO DO BEYOND THE SKIING

Val Thorens offers a series of attractions in addition to mountain sports. The village has dozens of boutiques, art galleries, decor stores and restaurants for all types of tastes. Children between four and 12 years old can participate in group ski lessons and share unforgettable moments with their friends. NIGHT LIFE

Val Thorens has become one of the busiest and most festive seasons in the world. It all started with the inauguration of the club La Folie Douce de Val d'Isère, a terrace in the middle of the mountain that turns into a lively dance-floor from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. It also opens as a restaurant at lunchtime. When night falls, skiers tend to flock to the Frog and Roast Beef pub, which stays open until late.
